The Inn at the Bush is a family run Pub with grub and beer garden. It is a great pitstop for cyclists, bikers and camper vans. Free shuttle from Bramble Beck and also to the Roman wall for wall walkers who stay with them. There is a covered outside seating area to the rear of the Pub.

Hunters Leisure at Bowness on Solway was originally a small Cavalry unit for the Roman Legion so the last Fort on Hadrian’s Wall. Hence the Fabulous Garrison style Huts as well as the lovely apartments for Bed & Breakfast accommodation.

The Greyhound Inn

Burgh By Sands 5 miles away From Bramble Beck.

The Greyhound Inn is a lovely country pub nestled in the small village of Burgh By Sands 6 miles west of Carlisle City Centre. Great food, Great beer and a warm welcome are what makes the Greyhound the heart of the community.

*The Greyhound is well known for its home-made Pizzas and they also offer a takeaway service.

There is a covered outdoor seating area and they have just built an amazing Sports Bar at the rear of the Pub.

There is also a statue of Edward the 1st who died in Burgh By Sands in 1307 and there is a monument in Burgh at the actual place he died.  Edward was also known as Edward Long Shanks for his long legs who was son of Henry the third.
